THe New album is done, in the can, ready to go : its called "circular Sounds" which barely defeated "The Glass Moustache" and "Prism Breakout" for new album title. Its gonna be released on February 6th of 2008.
AND for the folks in the united kingdom, my group will be winging our way to your shores this fall...we are pleased to announce that we'll be performing a number of shows over 2 weeks in november 2007, to coincide with the release of a new single "YOUR REVERIE" b/w "OWL SERVICE" which will be released by SubPop on 7" vinyl and via I-Tunes on November 5th. We play several of these shows with two fab bands - Two Gallants and Blitzen Trapper. Lest we forgot our dear pals in the southern hemisphere - there is a February 2008 tour of Australia in the works - see the show page for dates - includes my first two dates in New Zealand. I'm happy to be down with those folks who gave me support from the very start - and to be playing shows for them when the new album comes out.

Hello everyone.
Its been a busy summer - i got to help in the recording of new albums by the moore brothers, bart davenport and colossal yes...all east bay greasers.
it was a real pleasure as these folks are some of the finest songsters anywhere. additionally i found time to make a new record myself, which will
be released by subpop on february 5th, 2008. It will available on vinyl through the good peep at Cass Records in Detroit. Im still unsure of the title
so i still have some thinking to do. The first single form the album, is called "Your Reverie" and it will be released on 45RPM November 5th in UK and 6th elsewhere.
Its a neat song with the chords F# to E and some B too. The B-side is the plaintive ballad "Owl Service" co-written with my dear friend and talented
dude Garth Steel Klippert. Its about the late night train service here in San Francisco. There is conjecture about a tour of UK/Europe to coincide with the new single
it may be solo or with the band...not sure yet. At any rate, thats all the news for now. Cheers, Kelley

Hi and welcome to my new updated website...I should say sites as i am now the proud owner of both electriccity.org and kelleystoltz.com. The latter of which I had to wrestle from the evil hands of an off shore cybersquatter intent on using my name to sell flo-bees, bass-o-matics, ginsu knives and other late night TV ad devices. I'm sorry but that battle was exhausting and i'm not too hot at internet stuff anyway and as such, i would like to say thanks to Beth French for setting this up and bringing me into the NOW. Speaking of the NOW, I'm packing my bags and heading off on a three week tour with the Raconteurs. I hope to see faces old and new along the way. Our group has been practicing a bunch, and by George or by Jove, I think we sound great. After we get home, it's burritos twice daily for four weeks and then we eat xanax and fly across the atlantic ocean and land in England, wherein we tour and play, visit, hemorrhage cash and make our way to spots in europe as well...in short, we will be touring uk/europe this fall. I will post the dates as soon as i get them, thus far i know it all starts the weekend of september the 15-17th at the End of the Road Festival in Dorset, England.
